Job Summary
Join The Beckett Center program as a Residential Associate, where you'll directly support adults with serious mental illness in developing life skills. Work part time on nights from Wednesday to Friday, providing therapeutic interventions and meal preparation while ensuring accurate documentation. This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in mental health care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science or a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client with behavioral health needs
- Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desirable)
Additional Requirements
- Driving is an essential function of this position; valid driver's license required
- Must pass a DHS criminal background check
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and transfer clients
