Job Summary
Collect pertinent patient data including vital signs, intake, and output, then report abnormal findings to the Registered Professional nurse. Provide direct personal care such as bathing, oral care, grooming, and toileting while assisting with eating, dressing, and ambulation. Participate in care planning, nursing reports, and departmental safety inspections to maintain a clean, orderly environment. Document all care in the patient record and support a safety culture by analyzing errors and near misses. Adhere to standardized precautions, infection control techniques, and hospital safety goals under RN supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
- Successful completion of all applicable federal, State and institutionally mandated pre-employment screening requirements including Relevant Background Check(s), Drug Screen, PPD / Tuberculosis Test, Reference Check, and Applicable vaccinations
