Job Summary
Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Clinician provides outpatient therapy through a holistic, dual-recovery lens, addressing mental, physical, and social health. Services include psychiatric evaluation engagement, medication management, Medication Assisted Treatment, Peer Support, individual/family/group therapy, trauma-informed care, and collaboration within an integrated healthcare clinic. Requires NYS licensure in social work or counseling (or permit), and potential CASAC credentials; 1-2 years of experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders; strong communication skills; valid driver’s license. Salary range $65,000–$72,000 with a $4,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS license (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT) or permit holder
- CASAC II or Advanced CASAC preferred, CASAC-T or CASAC-P and/or relevant clinical experience providing substance use treatment will be considered
- 1-2 years of experience working with clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders
- 1-2 years of experience working in an OASAS funded facility is a plus
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
