Job Summary
Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at KVC Missouri Residential Center in Saint James, MO. Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including meals and snacks, assisting with personal care, and monitoring medication. Intervene in crisis situations and facilitate a healthy group living experience by creating a positive environment, managing conflict, and enforcing house rules. Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team, attend treatment team meetings, provide input on treatment plans, and help implement treatment plans as part of a supportive care approach to clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Class E driver's license with good driving record
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent time management
- Oral and written communication skills
- Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency
- Must be 21 years old to apply
