Job Summary
Men’s Varsity Soccer Assistant Coach at Bentley School (Upper School campus in Lafayette) for Fall 2026 Season. Part-Time/Seasonal/Non-Exempt position reporting to the Men’s Varsity Soccer Head Coach and Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include working with the head coach to grow the soccer program, planning and executing practices and games, developing and implementing game strategies, coaching individuals and groups, integrating a strength and conditioning program, maintaining student-athlete discipline, upholding league rules, and fostering positive relationships within the school community. Qualifications include prior high school or college-level coaching experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a collaborative, self-directed mindset, and availability for weekday afternoon/evening practices and some weekend games. Preferred qualifications include college-level playing experience. Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience at the high school and/or college level.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Desire to become part of the larger school athletic community.
- Must be able to work collaboratively as a team member.
- Must be self-directed.
- Time commitment - must be available for practices and games during weekday afternoons and evenings and on some weekends.
