Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, provide facility tours, and maintain cleanliness of all guest areas while ensuring their comfort. Review itineraries with clients, notify therapists of arrivals, and deliver accurate information regarding spa procedures, facilities, and policies. Manage daily operations by cleaning slippers, disposing of laundry, stocking linen, restocking bars, and cleaning dishes. Participate in staff meetings, educational events, and inventory tasks while adhering to all departmental policies and procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and uniform at all times. This role supports the Old Edwards Inn and Spa team in delivering world-class guest service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be bright, personable and can get along with others
- Should be highly service oriented
- Should be well organized and self-motivated
- Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to complete instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with less frequency
- Must be able to walk on a regular basis
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to see
- Must be able to hear
- Must be able to occasionally kneel
- Must be able to occasionally crouch

- Must be able to engage in interpersonal exchanges with guests, both in person and over the phone

- Must be able to notify the therapist of guest's arrival
- Must be able to give information regarding spa procedures, facilities, timetables, and policies of special functions
- Must be able to maintain all Spa Guest areas
- Must be able to clean slippers
- Must be able to dispose of dirty laundry
- Must be able to assist therapists in stocking clean linen
- Must be able to restock bar
- Must be able to clean spa dishes
- Must be able to participate in all spa activities including staff meetings, educational events, workshops, inventory, or promotions
- Must be able to have complete knowledge of all spa menu items, packages, group functions and special promotions
- Must be able to have knowledge of product ingredients, benefits, and application
- Must be able to have knowledge of Spa product ingredients, benefits, and application
- Must be able to understand the Old Edwards Inn and Spa objectives
- Must be able to achieve employee and departmental goals
- Must be able to refer relevant operational information to Spa Supervisors and Directors and to the upcoming shift
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Must be able to greet each guest in a warm, welcoming, and genuine manner
- Must be able to use guest's name appropriately
- Must be able to be friendly, helpful and smile
- Must be able to be courteous to all clients, guests, and co-workers

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or spa related role is preferred, but not required
