Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and meal preparation. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments while observing and reporting changes in their physical and mental health to nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe living environment and participate in social and recreational activities with residents. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably with memory support
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available for 7p to 7a shift
- Must be available for PRN (as needed) schedule
- Must be able to assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Must be able to provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments
- Must be able to observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental health to nursing staff
- Must be able to help residents with mobility and transfers as needed
- Must be able to assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Must be able to participate in social and recreational activities with residents
- Must be able to maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- One year experience working in a Healthcare Setting in senior living
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification
- Experience working as a Med Tech
- Computer Skills
