Job Summary
Provide personalized care and support in Memory Care Houses, assisting with daily activities of living, dining, housekeeping, and programming. Create a home-like environment for residents with dementia while working collaboratively in a person-centered setting under the general direction of the Director of Memory Care. Communicate effectively with team members, residents, family members, and visitors as required. This part-time role includes a 6AM-2:30PM shift with benefits non-exempt status. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED, or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification or be willing to become certified
- First Aid certification or be willing to become certified
- ServeSafe Education
- Current DHS Med Tech Certification
- Demonstrates the ability and willingness to obtain Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification and perform duties within the scope of practice as required to meet business needs
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, family members, and visitors
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Use or learn computer software used in the facility, i.e. word processing, e-mails, spreadsheets
