Job Summary
Create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments and discover their interests to implement appropriate engagement plans. Prepare dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for routines to set the stage for a successful day. Partner with residents to assist with daily life activities from waking to sleeping, and document care and changes in condition. Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. Shifts run 6:00pm to 6:00am on rotating Mondays and Wednesdays or Fridays. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
