Job Summary
Conduct daily memory care support by creating human connections with residents, discovering their interests to implement engagement strategies, and guiding them through daily routines from waking to sleeping. Prepare dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for events and nighttime routines to set the stage for successful days. Document resident care and condition changes accurately while assisting with orientation for new team members. This role requires standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 pounds, with a Tuesday through Saturday shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
