Job Summary
Conduct memory care support duties from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays at Vitalia Mentor. Create human connection with residents, discover their interests to implement engagement plans, and manage the physical environment for dining, events, and nighttime routines. Partner with residents for daily life activities and assist with orientation for new team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. Document resident care and changes in condition while maintaining safety standards for lifting, moving, and assisting with mobility.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
