Job Summary
Memory Care Support Partner responsible for understanding empathy, creating human connection with residents during vulnerable moments, observing residents to identify interests and abilities, developing and implementing engagement plans, and guiding residents through daily routines. Role includes documenting resident care, assisting with orientation of memory-care team members, and preparing the environment to support residents’ experiences from wake to sleep. Must have a high attention to detail, strong communication in English, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shift is 7:00pm–7:00am at Boulevard Wentzville in Wentzville, MO, full-time with benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist after a fall
- Criminal clearance
