Job Summary
Conduct evening memory care support from 11:00pm to 7:00am on Fridays and Saturdays, creating human connection with residents during vulnerable moments and partnering with them through daily life activities. Prepare dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for routines and events, while documenting care changes and assisting with orientation of new team members. Collaborate on engagement plans to ensure resident success, requiring physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility. Work at the Fremont location in Springfield, MO, offering a home-like environment with complimentary meals and a weekly recognition program.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
