Job Summary
Provide protective oversight and social supervision for memory care residents, including assisting with ambulation, meal services, and transportation to events. Maintain a safe physical environment by monitoring common areas, removing hazards, and performing housekeeping duties such as cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and wheelchairs. Deliver personal care as directed by care plans, document services provided, and respond to radio, pager, and pendant requests for assistance. Redirect and de-escalate behavioral residents while strictly adhering to facility rules, state regulations, and resident rights. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality for all clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One year of direct care experience working with the Alzheimer's population preferred
- Experience providing personal care and assistance with ADL's
- Minimum 18 years of age
- A valid QMAP certification
- Colorado Identification Card
- Food Handler's Card
- Hilltop Dementia Certification
- CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate
- Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification
- De-Escalation Training
- Hilltop Criminal Background Check
- CBI Records Check
- Sex Offender Registry check
- Colorado Adult Protective Services Background Check (CAPS)
- Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA) Check
- Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusion List
- Tuberculosis (Tb) Skin Test
- Influenza Vaccination
- Any other required vaccination
Desired Qualifications
