Job Summary
Memory Care Resident Assistant provides personal care and related services to residents per individualized service and care plans under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator. Responsibilities include obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, nutrition, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and medication reminders; following ISP and daily task sheets; communicating status changes to supervisors; applying infection-control procedures; maintaining safe, clean resident environments; documenting progress timely; encouraging resident engagement in activities; adhering to HIPAA and community policies; attending biweekly in-service meetings and mandatory trainings; and performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum six months caregiving experience, preferably with elderly residents
- Completion of required medication management course
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
