Memory Care Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver)

Job Summary
Provides direct resident care in a memory-care community as a universal worker, assists with ADLs, observes residents’ physical and mental conditions, and reports changes to supervisory staff; documents care services and observations; assists residents to and from dining and activities; performs First Aid and initiates emergency procedures; greets residents and visitors and answers phones; follows infection control and safety practices; serves meals and assists with dining room and kitchen duties; assists with tours, move-ins/outs, and transfers; coordinates personal care with coworkers and assists with housekeeping and laundry; participates in training and staff meetings; performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must complete and pass competency evaluation within 120 days of employment
- State required training including the Revised Fundamentals of Care, Dementia Care, First Aid, CPR and HIV training if not able to provide appropriate documentation of prior training
- Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Food Handlers permit if required by State
