Job Summary
Direct Memory Care operations and program development for residents with dementia, including overseeing staffing, scheduling, and resident care; creating individualized care plans; training and mentoring memory care staff; monitoring resident progress and communicating with families and leadership; ensuring regulatory compliance; planning engaging activities and fostering a resident-centered community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in memory care, dementia care, or senior living nursing management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of best practices for Alzheimer’s and dementia care
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused mindset
- Ability to mentor and inspire a team of caregivers
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a health care, mental health or social service profession or be a licensed LPN or RN
