Job Summary
Conduct daily and bi-weekly neighborhood rounds, lead daily huddles, and organize monthly programming calls to oversee Harmony Square operations. Supervise team members including Life Enrichment Assistants and PCAs while developing and implementing purposeful resident programs based on wellness dimensions. Partner with the Healthcare Director to complete state care plans, ensure dining requirements are met, and maintain the Behavior Expression process. Plan weekly outings, coordinate supplies, and lead three to four high-quality programs per day. Complete resident/family care conferences, participate in the Family Call Program, and connect with local community resources. Maintain a stimulating environment promoting safety and well-being while driving the company vehicle to fulfill state training and insurance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- Three to five years' experience working with individuals with Dementia
- Experience supervising and managing staff
- Must possess critical thinking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities for seniors with Dementia
- Experience with Behavior Expressions redirection and interventions
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must maintain applicable state requirements of dementia specific training
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Areas of Study: Recreation, activities, geriatrics, and dementia care
- Special Certificates: Dementia training or Certified Dementia Practitioner
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for working with individuals with dementia
