Job Summary
Directs memory care services in an assisted living setting; leads a team, oversees individualized care plans, coordinates SAMM medication management, communicates with families, and develops resident-engagement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience with the aging process and/or disability issues
- Previous experience working with memory impaired elderly in a paid or volunteer position
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the geriatric field
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public
- Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
- Valid driver’s license
