Memory Care Director

Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day operations of the memory care neighborhood, managing and supervising all team members within the Valeo program. Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule of activities seven days a week, preparing monthly plans in advance and ensuring full program coverage. Coordinate wellness conferences, organize resident programs, and implement Salus Signature practices while driving the community vehicle. Manage staffing schedules, ensure coverage needs are met, and oversee team member attendance and training. Communicate with families, residents, and department heads via Caremerge, conduct quarterly resident surveys, and meet monthly budget targets.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university, or proof of satisfactory completion of two years of college, with major course of study in recreation or related field, or two years of full-time experience in the recreation field in a senior adult population
- State driver license required with clean driving record
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Basic typing skills and computer knowledge to include familiarity with MS Word and other pertinent software
- Physically able to bend and reach
- Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
