Job Summary
Oversee care and service for Cottage residents by creating, updating, and implementing individualized service plans based on resident needs, preferences, and life stories. Lead Cottage Care Partners through recruitment, hiring, training, coaching, and supervision while developing staffing plans and monitoring labor within budget. Participate in resident assessments, communicate care changes to families and physicians, and facilitate family meetings as the primary contact for concerns. Partner with department leaders to coordinate clinical, dining, activity, and environmental needs while supporting Highgate programming standards including aromatherapy and purposeful living. Maintain compliance with state licensing, resident rights, and policies while monitoring quality assurance, incident reporting, and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Active Arizona CCG credential in good standing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain
- Current TB test and successful criminal background clearance
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of varying types of dementia
- Experience supporting residents through the progression of dementia
- Strong communication, writing, computer, typing, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours and lift or carry up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to meet all applicable state and local licensing requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a resident care setting
