Job Summary
Memory Care Clinical Manager (LPN preferred) serves as the clinical manager for the Memory Care neighborhood, coordinating resident care, delegating tasks to RCAs and Medication Technicians, and monitoring overall functioning. Responsible for resident clinical and care decisions in the absence of the Executive Director/Welness Director, reporting to the Wellness Director. Leads care planning, evaluates residents, ensures medication administration accuracy, coaches and disciplines staff as needed, maintains open communication with families, participates in resident care conferences, and supports on-call/on-site coverage, including weekends and special events. Requires licensed nurse or medication-certification in the state, with 5 years in long-term or memory-care settings and supervisory experience; LPN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Long Term Care, Skilled Care or Residential Care setting required
- Must be licensed nurse or certified to administer medications in state where community is located; LPN preferred
- Minimum of two years experience with supervisory experience preferred
- Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience required
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor
