Job Summary
Memory Care Support Partner (Part-Time) at Vitalia Mentor in Mentor, OH. Responsibilities include advocating empathy and creating human connection with residents during vulnerable moments, serving as a Patient Observer to identify residents’ interests and implement engagement plans, coordinating mise en scène activities to prepare spaces for residents’ daily routines, partnering with residents to support daily living, and diligently documenting resident care and condition changes. Must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or equivalent, read/write English with residents, maintain a positive energetic attitude toward residents, possess computer skills to enter resident information, be physically active (standing/walking/kneeling/bending), able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be criminally cleared. Shift is Sunday & Monday 11pm-7am; starting wage is $18.00-$24.75 per hour. Required Qualifications
- You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- You will have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
- You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
- You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
- You will possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
- You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- You must be criminally cleared.
