Job Summary
Conduct daily memory care support by creating human connection with residents, discovering their interests to implement engagement plans, and guiding them through daily routines from waking to sleeping. Prepare dining areas, libraries, and resident rooms to set the stage for successful days, while documenting care changes and assisting with orientation for new team members. This role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a starting wage of $18.00-$22.75 per hour at The Fremont in Springfield, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
