Memory Care Activity Assistant - Evening Shift (2:00 pm to 830 pm Monday thru Friday)

Job Summary
Lead and assist with group activities including arts and crafts, music, games, and exercise programs for residents on the Dementia Unit. Provide one-on-one activities for residents unable to attend group programs, adapting content for those with dementia, memory impairment, or physical limitations. Set up, facilitate, and clean up activity spaces before and after each program, while escorting residents safely to and from sessions. Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, and themed dining programs, and decorate the facility for seasons and holidays. Document resident participation accurately in the activity record and report behavioral changes to the nurse. This afternoon/evening shift runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm with no weekend work required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with elderly or memory care populations
- Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Creative, energetic, and able to engage with others
- Afternoon/Evening position availability (2:00 pm to 830 pm Monday thru Friday)
- No weekend work availability
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant
- Previous experience doing activities with older adults
