Job Summary
Coordinate and implement engaging activity programs for Memory Care residents; develop, execute and maintain quality activity initiatives; monitor participation, manage supplies and calendars, and provide bedside activities for residents unable to attend. Requires completing dementia management training/certification; candidate must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a large resident vehicle. Duties include observing resident participation, updating monthly calendars, reporting concerns, and complying with health and safety standards while promoting dignity and social interaction among residents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience conducting activities
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care, home health or related service industries
- Prior experience working with dementia and/or memory care a plus
- Clean driving record and ability to drive a large resident passenger vehicle
