Memory Care Activities Assistant

Job Summary
Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia. Support residents holistically by connecting with their emotional and social needs while balancing daily schedules and activity prep. Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence—in all interactions with seniors, families, and staff. Requires State approved Nursing Assistant training or CNA competency evaluation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months' related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program
- a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State
- This training can also be provided by the community
