Job Summary
Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities while supporting residents experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other memory-related conditions. Connect with residents to understand their emotional and social needs, ensuring each person lives every day to their maximum cognitive and physical ability. Balance daily schedules and activity preparation while cooperating closely with the care team to support residents holistically. Complete a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months' related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program
- a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State
