Job Summary
Membership Specialist responsibilities include serving as the frontline point of contact for casino members and guests, supporting membership sign-ups, verifying documentation, data entry, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements in a luxury environment. You will handle enquiries, resolve issues, and navigate sensitive conversations with discretion, participate in training and compliance updates, and work a fixed schedule with evenings and weekends. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is essential for member interactions, and the role requires confidentiality, strong customer service, and the ability to obtain Casino Employee Licences including probity and credit clearance. This position operates within the Customer Onboarding Team at Crown Sydney with a 12-month maximum term and part-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Mandarin or Cantonese (essential)
- Reliable availability to work weekends and evening shifts
- Strong system and computer skills with accurate data entry
- Deliver high-quality customer service with warmth and professionalism
- Comfortable managing challenging conversations calmly and respectfully
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Ability to obtain and maintain Casino Employee Licences, including probity and credit clearance
- Knowledge of AML/CTF, KYC or Privacy requirements is advantageous but not essential
