Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of membership engagement, retention, and administration by developing strategies to connect members with programs, reducing attrition, and analyzing data to identify growth opportunities. Recruit, hire, train, and manage schedules for membership staff while maintaining a leadership presence at the welcome center to model best practices. Ensure efficient operations by managing the membership budget, enforcing compliance with policies and financial guidelines, and collaborating on facility safety and outreach initiatives. Partner with marketing to execute enrollment campaigns and support fundraising activities. Full-time, salaried position at $48,000-$50,000/year with excellent benefits, located at the Speer Branch YMCA in St. Petersburg, FL. Requires Level 2 background clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and minimum three years of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, including recruiting, training, and evaluating staff
- Proven track record in customer service and membership retention strategies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Level 2 background clearance through DCF (Florida)
- Proficiency in standard business software
