Job Summary
Membership Services Associate at YMCA responsible for greeting members and guests, providing information on memberships/programs, handling phone inquiries, processing member sign-ups and program registrations, managing receipts and deposits, conducting facility access control, giving facility tours, and addressing member complaints while upholding safety and cleanliness protocols. Requires strong communication, ability to manage money and registrations accurately, background checks, CPR/First Aid and related YMCA training, and staying knowledgeable about program information.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- State of Florida Criminal History Background Check requirements
- 1-2 years prior customer service experience
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Positive attitude
- Adhere to drug/alcohol/smoke free workplace policy
- CPR and First Aid Certifications required
- Completion of YMCA of the USA Child Abuse and Neglect class
- Completion of the YMCA’s Blood Borne Pathogens training
- Staff Safety Requirements/Cleaning Protocols
