Job Summary
Execute acquisition 365, renew, upgrade, and cross-sell BJ's loyalty programs while converting potential members through active pitching of all membership options and co-brand credit cards. Serve as the first line of contact for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general inquiries, resolving member concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Follow tax-exempt/resale policies, monitor renewals, and assist with Buy Online and Pick Up orders while maintaining club policies and GOLD member standards. Requires regular, predictable full attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Prior front line/customer service or previous sales experience
- Basic math skills
- Computer proficiency
- Occasionally requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds
- May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance

- Results driven with proven success in goal achievement
- Environmental Job Conditions: Most of the time is spent frequently remaining in a stationary position on hard surfaces
- There may be a need to occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping
- Located in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises
- There may be occasional contact with cleaning agents
- We recognize the growing role of AI tools, including ChatGPT, and value familiarity with them
