Membership Retention Specialist

Develop and implement annual retention strategies to meet membership goals for youth and adults in the assigned area. Build strong, supportive relationships with volunteers through regular communication, coaching, and encouragement. Assist new troops with onboarding and provide ongoing guidance throughout their first year to ensure a positive volunteer experience. Partner with community leaders and volunteers to maintain a strong service unit structure, representing the council at local meetings to share updates and seasonal reminders. Address minor conflicts with sensitivity while using Salesforce to track outreach and monitor progress. Collaborate with Recruitment Specialists to ensure successful member placement and retention. This role requires flexibility for evening and weekend availability, including regular travel within the region.
