Job Summary
Membership Growth and Retention Specialist responsible for developing, retaining, and increasing girl/adult membership, along with recruiting and providing ongoing support to volunteers. Responsibilities include developing and implementing plans for membership growth and retention through the work of volunteers, scheduling and managing recruitment events in assigned areas 2-3 times per week during peak seasons, delivering or supporting the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience in designated areas, ensuring inclusivity by delivering the Girl Scout message to diverse communities, and providing onboarding and ongoing support to volunteers while interpreting council policies. Strong emphasis on volunteer supervision, conflict management, diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; requires 37.5 hours per week with some weekends/evenings; travel within the council area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week; weekends and evenings required
- Strong communication skills—listening as well as written & verbal communication
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
