Membership Customer Representative

Job Summary
This role handles membership dues payments, processes registrations and payments for conventions, maintains the membership database, and provides information to members, chapters, employees, and volunteers via telephone, email, and mail. Responsibilities include balancing batches and deposits, issuing refunds, processing chapter fundraiser packets, applying tracking codes and sponsor details, opening and sorting mail, and upselling convention packages during registration. Occasional travel to SCI's Annual Convention and on-site support to members are required. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required with 2-3 years in data entry, 3+ years in database software, and 3+ years of customer service experience. Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and database software are essential; familiarity with SCI’s proprietary software is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred
- 2-3 years of Data Entry experience
- 3+ years of experience with database software
- 3+ years of Customer Service experience
- Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, database and graphic presentation software
- Ability to become proficient with SCI’s proprietary software
Desired Qualifications
