Membership Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage the membership program for Imagination Station: grow, manage, and retain the membership base through sales, promotions and member events. Develop membership campaigns and monitor the membership budget; input memberships into the database, print cards, and ensure timely card issuance. Respond to inquiries within 24 hours from prospective and current members. Collaborate with Marketing to develop and update membership/promotional materials (letters, welcome packets, newsletters, fact sheets, directories, listings, brochures). Coordinate special membership initiatives and member-only events (traveling exhibits previews). Develop target market strategies for direct mail and telemarketing to recruit/retain members. Create sales incentive programs for front desk staff. Identify new member sources and business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior sales or fundraising experience preferred
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, database management, and the ability to quickly learn the membership system
- Flexible schedule to include occasional evenings and weekends
