Job Summary
Acknowledge every member, parent, and visitor upon entering and leaving the facility while directing and supervising the flow of people. Maintain the membership database, assign and distribute replacement cards, and collect dues to report to the Club Director. Prepare required reports, ensure staff training on data management systems, and promote interest in daily activities. Answer all phone calls, manage messages, and recommend supplies for the membership area. Collaborate with staff on special events and assist with outreach for new members, including participation in the Safe Passages Program. Maintain accurate records and files while exhibiting strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years' related experience working with youth/family oriented agencies
- Demonstrated ability and interest in working with youth
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products and database management
- Must be able to demonstrate the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, Inc. programs and philosophy
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Must participate in the Safe Passages Program after school pick up program if necessary
- Must assist with the outreach of new members
