Job Summary
Membership Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is responsible for controlling membership registration, front-desk operations, maintaining accurate membership/attendance records, processing dues and fees, issuing member/guest cards, signing in visitors, and assisting with communications and reports to the Program Director. The role supports licensing compliance, tours, facility operations, and acting as a keyholder. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and 6 months of data-management experience; First Aid/CPR preferred and background checks are required for DelaCare compliance. The position emphasizes customer service, youth-facing interaction, and maintaining an inviting club environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Demonstrated PC application proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Six (6) months experience managing and tracking various kinds of data
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass FBI clearance and background checks per DelaCare regulations
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work with school aged children and families
