Membership Coordinator

Job Summary
Membership Coordinator is responsible for controlling the membership registration, record-keeping, and communication and control of the front desk area at the assigned Boys & Girls Club. Responsibilities include interpreting and communicating the club philosophy and programs to members, parents, and the public; ensuring compliance with licensing requirements for school-age centers; managing membership and attendance records and payments; issuing membership and guest cards; controlling access to program areas; engaging with members to promote participation; maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for the Program Director; answering calls and messages; preparing letters, forms, and reports; assisting with activities as directed; adhering to financial policies; recording minutes of meetings; presenting as a positive role model for youth; and performing other tasks as needed. Requires a High School diploma or equivalency, PC proficiency, and at least six months of data-management experience. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred; background checks are required. Physical demands include lifting up to 25 pounds and a fast-paced environment. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-6:00pm; benefits are available for part-time employees meeting hours criteria.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Demonstrated PC application proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Six (6) months experience managing and tracking various kinds of data
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Must be able to pass FBI clearance, State of Delaware Criminal History Background Check, National and State Sexual Abuse Registry check, and National and State Child Abuse Registry Check per DelaCare regulations
