Job Summary
Greet members and visitors professionally while checking membership application accuracy and entering data into the Vision database daily. Prepare and issue membership ID numbers, monitor visitor attendance, and produce periodic statistical reports on applications, dues, and fees. Collect fees, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain accurate electronic and hard copy filing systems. Answer telephones promptly, handle messages, and contact members with irregular attendance. Inform parents about program options and distribute club policies while maintaining confidentiality and following safety procedures. Perform other administrative duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Report to scheduled shift consistently and on time.
- Follow policies, procedures and rules of the organization.
- Serve as a role model and demonstrate, encourage and offer direction in fairness, consistency, attentiveness, ability to work with others, appropriate dress and appearance, and effective conflict resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of those we serve.
- Ability to handle multi-phone lines effectively
- Proven ability managing multiple priorities; strong organization, detail and process management orientation
- Working knowledge of office machines and equipment, e.g. fax machines and photocopiers
- Strong proficiency with computers, data base entry and with full Microsoft Office suite, email, and internet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; above average interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information and apply appropriate judgment
- Passion for providing extraordinary customer service and work with people at all levels
- Some travel may be required for training and/or other business purposes.
- Daily operation of personal motor vehicle relevant to carrying out job duties is required for this position.
- Regularly lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to think strategically and ability to sit for more than four hours per day.
