Job Summary
Member Technical Staff (Level 2) responsible for design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile software applications; captures requirements, designs and implements code, fixes bugs, develops test environments and test cases, and conducts traceability reviews across development and testing teams. Manages audits and compliance per the Software/Product Development Life Cycle, participates in software upgrades and patches, evaluates new tools/technologies for performance and security, and leads team management and mentoring across cross-functional groups. Located in Bangalore, India as part of Five Years Out/Arrow's engineering group, delivering complex solutions and ensuring deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience
- Design and development of real time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software applications
- Requirements capturing, design & code implementation, bug fixing, test environment development, test cases and procedures development, traceability analysis and review work of development and testing teams
- Manage audit and compliances as per Software/Product Development Life Cycle
- Participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as mandated by the Client
- Evaluate new tools & technologies for optimized performance, cost optimization, Infra-security
- Responsible for team management and mentoring subordinate & collaborating with different/cross functional teams to ensure deliverables
