Job Summary
Manage member inquiries via phone, video, email, and other channels by addressing financial needs, resolving issues, and processing transactions accurately. Educate members on products and services while highlighting promotions to meet or exceed individual and collaborative sales goals. Direct complex cases to supervisors when outside your authority and maintain a positive, professional demeanor throughout all interactions. Participate in Saturday rotations and complete additional hours for special projects as assigned. Successfully complete all required training and stay updated on policy changes.
Required Qualifications
- Zero to six months of similar or related experience
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- Must be located within 100 miles of Ithaca, NY
- Must be available for Saturday rotation
- Must be available for additional hours for special projects
- Must be available for member inquiries through various communication methods
- Must maintain a positive attitude and a spirit of teamwork
- Must successfully sell and refer credit union products and services
Desired Qualifications
- Must be able to provide prompt accurate, and professional service to all members and potential members through multiple platforms
- Must be able to process member transactions accurately and in accordance with Beginnings policy and procedures
- Must be able to resolve member issues and concerns within the position's level of authority and in accordance with Credit Union's policies
- Must be able to direct members to the appropriate resource and/ or Supervisor when a solution is outside the scope of the Member Solution Rep I's authority or responsibility
- Must be able to successfully complete all training and keep abreast of company policy changes
- Must be able to meet or exceed sales or referral goals as an individual and collaboratively with the team
