Job Summary
In this Hybrid, full-time role in Olympia, WA, you will oversee pre- and post-repossession notices, assign vehicles to repossession agents, and ensure proper file maintenance and timely location of collateral. You will dispose of repossessed collateral via auto auctions, process insurance claims and refundable premiums, manage collateral portfolios to maximize recovery, monitor outcomes with agents and insurers, and obtain flexible payment options for borrowers. The role requires knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, and SCRA, strong written and verbal communication, skip tracing and numeric problem-solving, and at least 2 years of experience in financial institutions and consumer collections. The position includes benefits, a hybrid work arrangement (home-based with on-site training/meetings), and is located in Olympia, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years financial institution experience
- Minimum two (2) years consumer collection experience
- Minimum one (1) year repossession and skip tracing experience
- Knowledge of lending and financial regulations (FDCPA, FCRA and SCRA)
- Tactful, effective communication skills (listening, speaking, writing)
- Ability to communicate information with emotional people in a positive and diplomatic manner over the telephone
- Ability to form recommendations with clear and concise written support
- Ability to calculate interest rates and percentages and to research and solve numeric discrepancies
