Job Summary
Conduct branch meetings to assist members with real estate, consumer lending, and retirement needs while negotiating resolution of complex inquiries. Serve as the primary resource for 403/457 retirement products, personal lines insurance, and consumer loans by assessing member financial situations and recommending appropriate products. Process moderately difficult financial transactions, originate new accounts, and provide consultative services to deepen member relationships and increase product utilization. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance including BSA requirements. Assist with department projects, reports, and training of new team members while completing required continuing education and recertification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
- 1-3 years of prior relevant experience
- Required licenses
- Thorough knowledge of Real Estate
- Thorough knowledge of Consumer Loans
- Thorough knowledge and required licenses in order to serve as the department primary resource for 403, 457 and other retirement and Investment products and services
- Thorough knowledge and required license in order to serve as the department primary source for personal lines/automobile insurance
- Demonstrated ability to make loan decisions in a high volume environment when applicable
- Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as a mortgage loan originator in accordance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the "SAFE Act") when applicable
- FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 when applicable
- Personal Lines Broker License
- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties
