Job Summary
Delivers excellent service to members, guests, and program participants; promotes memberships and programs; maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area. Interacts with prospective members through interviews and tours, sells memberships and merchandise, builds relationships within the YMCA community, and resolves membership concerns. Fosters an inclusive environment and actively participates in equity and diversity initiatives while adhering to YMCA policies. Requires CPR/First Aid and AED certifications (training provided). The role involves front-desk duties in a part-time capacity, with emphasis on member engagement, problem-solving, and teamwork to support YMCA operations.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid and AED certification (required; training can be provided and must be obtained within 60 days)
- Previous customer service, sales, or related experience; ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of computers
