Job Summary
The Member Services Representative will provide a positive member experience at the Planet Fitness front desk by delivering exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering phones, assisting with inquiries, checking members in, signing up new members, giving tours, processing updates to member accounts, and escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed. Maintain club cleanliness and safety during shifts. Requires a High School diploma or GED, is suitable for individuals aged 18+, and involves standing/walking for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication, empathy, professionalism, and a proactive, upbeat attitude are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer proficiency
- Customer service background preferred
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Strong listening and problem-solving skills
