Job Summary
Greet members, prospective members, and guests while handling front desk activities such as answering phones, checking members into the system, processing new sign-ups, and conducting facility tours. Resolve inquiries and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management as needed, and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the club by sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, and equipment. Stock supplies, report broken amenities, and manage lost and found items in accordance with company policy. Work independently during AM, PM, or overnight shifts, maintaining situational awareness and documenting non-emergencies in the Communication Log on Microsoft Teams. Full-time, 8-hour shifts run Monday through Friday with a rotating schedule; requires a minimum age of 16 (18 for overnight roles) and the ability to work alone.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Must be able to Lift, pull, push a minimum of 25lbs
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Punctuality and reliability
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Basic computer proficiency
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
- Satisfactory background check
- Must be able to work alone and independently
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work AM, PM, or Overnight shifts
- Must be able to work Monday - Thursday: 2:00 PM to 10: PM
- Must be able to work Friday: 1:00 PM to 9: PM
- Must be able to work 8-hour shift
- Must be able to work independently, including times when they may be alone
- Must be able to maintain constant situational awareness
- Must be able to address issues promptly
- Must be able to contact the management for emergencies
- Must be able to document non-emergencies in the Communication Log on Microsoft Teams
- Must be able to uphold Planet Fitness standards without on-site managerial support
- Must be able to work alone for parts or all of their shift
- Must be able to work Continual standing and walking during shift
- Must be able to work Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift
- Must be able to occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift
- Must be able to legally work in the United States (E-Verify)
