Job Summary
The Team Member will create a positive member experience by delivering superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests. Responsibilities include greeting members and guests, front desk duties (answering phones, checking members in, new member sign-up, giving tours, updating member accounts), addressing questions and concerns (with escalation to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed), and helping maintain the club’s cleanliness. Requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, a positive, reliable attitude, excellent listening and problem-solving abilities, diplomacy in interactions, and a high school diploma or GED with eligibility to work at age 18+. - Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
