Job Summary
The Member Services Representative greets and assists members and guests, handles sign ups, updates billing and contact information, processes cancellations and membership transfers, answers phone inquiries, conducts tours for prospective members, and conducts retail POS transactions. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to listen and empathize, and the readiness to learn via online and hands-on training. Daily duties include maintaining a clean and sanitary club environment (equipment, locker rooms) and addressing facility concerns. CPR/AED certification is encouraged with training provided; bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is preferred. The position emphasizes delivering a high-quality, welcoming customer experience in Planet Fitness’ Judgement Free Zone, with opportunities for advancement and a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer and Point of Sale proficiency
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided)
- Bilingual preferred but not required (English/Spanish)
