Job Summary
As a Member Services Representative at Planet Fitness, you will greet members and guests, check members in and sign up new members, take prospective members on tours, answer questions, and address concerns with exceptional customer service. You will maintain the facility’s cleanliness and safety, assist with account updates, stock supplies, follow policy protocols (Lost and Found), and document issues using Microsoft Teams. The role includes AM, PM, and Overnight shifts and often requires working independently without on-site managerial support, with emphasis on creating a welcoming environment and upholding Planet Fitness standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Must be able to Lift, pull, push a minimum of 25lbs.
- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
- Satisfactory background check.
- Overnight, Additional Qualification(s):
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work alone and independently.
